England Under-21s goalkeeper Scott Loach was pleased with a point in Greece after a fine personal display helped keep the home side at bay.
Daniel Sturridge gave the Three Lions an early lead, but Sotiris Ninis equalised just before half-time. Both sides had chances, but it was the performance of Loach that made sure Stuart Pearce's men returned home with four points from their first two 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.
But the Watford man was modest after the match when he spoke to TheFA.com. "We dug in and I was pleased with myself but also the whole team in front of me who got their bodies behind the ball," said Loach. "I think in the end we deserved a point.
"That's my job at the end of the day, I've got to make saves. Fortunately tonight everything went right for me."
