England training part two

England v Brazil
International Friendly
Friday 1 June 2007
Wembley Stadium

Watch part two of England's training session where the players are split into two teams for a practice match.

Both goalkeepers Paul Robinson and Robert Green pull off a string of fine saves as the shots rain down, although it's not long until the ball finds the back of the net.

After Peter Crouch hits the post, Stewart Downing, fresh from his double against Albania on Friday, shows more form in front of goal with a precise drive into the corner.

It's Steven Gerrard's turn next. The midfielder, who celebrates his 27th birthday today, collects the ball after good work from Crouch and Jermain Defoe, cuts inside past Wes Brown before curling into the far corner.

It was Gerrard's two goals that set England on their way against Andorra at the end of March.

The final word is left with Alan Smith, another player who netted in the 'B' International. Calmly taking control of a cross on his thigh, the Manchester United forward nonchalantly volleys the ball into the far corner.
