The England C team came from a goal behind to draw in Hungary thanks to a strike from Mansfield Town's Louis Briscoe.
In their first game of the new season at the Sostoi Stadium with the qualifying fixtures for the International Challenge Trophy in mind, Paul Fairclough's men found themselves one-nil down with 26 minutes gone when Srekeres gave the home side the advantage.
However, Briscoe levelled four minutes before half-time with a fine strike to ensure England return home with a creditable draw.
