The Three Lions suffered a shock exit from the World Deaf Championships in Patras, Greece despite firing in three quick goals to lead 3-2.

However, Greece took advantage of an England team reduced to eight men to fire the winning goal and send the Three Lions crashing out of the Championship.
 
It all started so well for England, who took control of the game in the early stages, with goals from Jason Corbett, debutant James Clarke and Alistair Dalziel finding the net.

Unfortunately though, Greece took the lead shortly before half time and England's response came soon after the break, whilst enjoying good possession of the ball inside Greece's half when centre-back Jason Corbett secured his first international goal, heading home from Chris Naylor's glorious cross from the left hand side. 
 
In the space of 15 minutes of fast football, England’s response was two further goals, which saw them edge into a 3-2 lead, firstly with a clever ball dropped into space from Dalziel for youngster James Clarke who raced ahead to fire the ball in and mark his first international goal in his first start. 
 
Another clever ball in from the left hand side was met by the feet of Daniel Ailey, who played in a quick cross for Oliver Wilcox, only for the ball to land in the path of Dalziel, who found his spot to put the Three Lions in a commanding position, going into the last 15 minutes of the match. 
 
However there followed chaotic scenes and England saw themselves down to reduced to eight men in quick succession, when Hogan, Taljinder Singh and Ailey were sent off by the Greece official. Greece then secured the victory with a penalty and late goal, sending England crashing out.
 
Despite the loss, Mark Pover's lad will now face Thailand for a place in the 9th-12th place play off.
