Biography

The England Women's Assistant Coach, and Under-23 Head Coach, Brent originally trained as a PE teacher at Culham College in Oxford in the mid-70s after coaching a local boys team in Fulham.

Brent’s playing career saw him turn out to right-back for Kingstonian and Feltham in the Isthmian League.

He has a wealth of coaching experience incorporating stints at Chapman University College (California), Brentford, Millwall, Watford and Fulham.

He lectured in Sports and Exercise Science at Southbank University and Southwark College, where he started the first English female college football academy in 1998 (at which future England midfielder Katie Chapman was a player).

Brent holds the UEFA Pro Licence, the UEFA A Licence, The FA Level 5 Psychology in Football diploma, an MSc in Sports Coaching (Brunel University) and is an FA Coach Education Diploma holder.
