A tidy and compact midfield player, who can often pop up in support of the attack when required. More than comfortable with the ball at his feet, the east-Londoner is a decent passer of the ball and also adept from set-pieces if required.
Having been with Arsenal for numerous years and rising through their youth ranks, Nico first played for England when he represented the U17s in the Nordic Tournament of 2009 and played against both Norway and Scotland.
He then went on to have a productive campaign at club level with the Gunners and caught U19 Head Coach Noel Blake's eye by breaking into the reserve team there.
Also capable of playing in defence if need be, Yennaris made his U19 debut as a substitute against Slovakia in September 2010.
