Biography

A lively and creative player, who can feature in a variety of roles in midfield or attack. Primarily a forward thinking midfield player, Williams can also be used from the flank where his pace and skill make him a dangerous customer for opponents.

The Middlesbrough starlet was part of the England U17 squad which did so well in 2010 by winning the European Championship Finals in Liechtenstein, where he provided John Peacock with a valuable option from the bench to come on and run at tiring legs and that was a role he performed on his debut for the U19s in September 2010.

His progress has also been noted at the Riverside Stadium, where he has been in and around the first team squad from a young age.
