Marvin started three matches for the Under-21s in 2012-13, including the play-offs with Serbia. He scored 21 League goals for Watford before switching to Bolton.

Marvin received his first call-up for England when Brian Eastick selected him for the U20 squad to face France in Shrewsbury, after impressing in the Championship with Watford.
