A solid left-back, Ellis played in three of England’s four games in the Nordic Tournament at the beginning of August and will be hoping for further recognition in the upcoming FA International U17 Tournament.
The Manchester City defender also made four appearances for the U16s in season 2009-10, against Belgium, Ukraine, Japan and Portugal.
