Son of the former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur favourite Gus, Charlton Athletic's Diego Poyet made his England debut against Wales for the U16s in the 2010 Victory Shield.
An industrious midfielder, some of his father’s playing qualities have certainly rubbed off on the young Addick as he is comfortable with the ball at his feet and he has a good range of passing.
After helping England to Victory Shield success, he captained the Young Lions in 2011's Montaigu Tournament in France before moving onto the U17s.
Despite his parents' Uruguayan nationality, Poyet has spent the vast majority of his life in England hence his choice to represent the Three Lions.
