Current club: Everton
One of Everton’s most consistent performers over the past few seasons, Leon Osman received his first-ever England senior team call-up ahead of the friendly against Sweden in November 2012.
The midfielder came through the ranks at Goodison and made his Toffees debut against Tottenham in January 2003, following a loan spell at Carlisle United.
A more notable loan period was spent at Derby County where he scored three times in 17 appearances, earning him his first Everton start, against Wolves in May 2004.
He has continued to go from strength to strength and is now one of the first names of David Moyes’s teamsheet.
Osman represented England at U16 level in the 1997-98 season, featuring against Poland, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Croatia and Slovakia, alongside the likes of Gareth Barry and Joe Cole.
