The rangy striker received his first cap for England in September 2010, when he featured for the U19s in their opening game of the 2010-11 campaign, and it was something of a dream start for the Liverpool man as he opened the scoring in a 2-0 win against Slovakia with a calmly taken finish.
Tall and pacy, Ngoo is a handful for defenders and whilst his physical appearance gives him a definite advantage, he also has fine technical ability which makes him a good outlet for any team.
First spotted playing for Southend United's youth team, Liverpool completed a deal to sign him in September 2009 and he went straight into the Academy at Anfield where he has continued to progress.
He was then rewarded with a place in the England U20 squad for the World Cup in Colombia in the summer of 2011.
