A regular goalscorer for the Sunderland second string, Noble was rewarded with an international debut in the U17s in 2008, before making the step-up to the U19s in March 2010 when he featured against the Netherlands in a 1-1 draw.
His first international goal followed when he scored an early opener against Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Elite Qualifying Round of the European U19 Championships in May 2010 before travelling to the Finals in France with Noel Blake's team.
Once there, he helped England to qualify for the FIFA U20 World Cup and was duly rewarded with a place in Brian Eastick's squad for that competition in Colombia in 2011.
