A tall and solid central defender, Angus was first capped by England back in 2007 when he was picked for the U16s Victory Shield match against Northern Ireland in Blackpool.
He then went on to feature a further five times for the U16s, including matches at the Montaigu Tournament in western France.
Over the years, he has continued to progress at club level with Reading and that prompted England U19s Head Coach Noel Blake to select him for the first game of the 2010-11 season against Slovakia at Crewe.
He put in a flawless performance there and will be hoping to add to his international honours in the future.
