Lindsay is a versatile player who impressed Hope Powell with her solid defensive performances at the Algarve Cup in 2005, a year after making her England bow against Holland.
She can play anywhere across the back four and has now clocked up 40 caps. She scored her first goal in a friendly against Norway and started four matches at Euro 2009.
