Biography

A rampaging left-back who has progressed through the youth ranks at Chelsea and earned international recognition thanks to his performances for the Stamford Bridge club.

Hailing from south London, Deen-Conteh was first capped by the Young Lions at U16 level when he played two games to help England lift the Victory Shield of 2008.

He was then an important member of the Chelsea team which lifted The FA Youth Cup in 2010, with his attacking instinct down the flanks coupled with his tenacity in the tackle making sure he was one player who really caught the eye.

U19 Head Coach Noel Blake certainly thought so and he made his debut for the U19s in September 2010 in their first game of the season against Slovakia in Crewe.
