Biography

A good all-round midfield player who captained England U17s to Euro success in Liechtenstein in May 2010, thus becoming the first England player to lift a trophy for 17 years.

A real box-to-box player, whose style of play has seen him likened to Liverpool club-mate Steven Gerrard in the past, Coady has previously been capped at U16 level too and acts like the heart-beat of a team by providing support to the attack and steel in the defence.

His continued progress saw him receive his first call-up to the U18 squad for the game with Poland at Wycombe Wanderers in November 2010 and duly into Noel Blake's U19 squad.
