Pacy and skilful, Berahino arrived in England from Burundi as a toddler and has quickly taken to life in this country where he is well thought of at the Hawthorns. A goalscorer, who can also feature on the flank thanks to his pace and strength, Berahino scored against Turkey in the European U17 Championship Finals in May and has also been capped at U18 and U19 level.
Berahino's potential was recognised when he was selected for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Colombia in July 2011 and he went on to impress there with his performances against the likes of Argentina and Mexico as a lone-striker.
