Marc, a 5’9” winger, made his debut for Aston Villa in 2008.
The Tamworth-born youngster made his way through the Villa ranks after being released by rivals West Bromwich Albion at an early age, and although he was on the verge of breaking into the First Team at the start of the 09-10 season, injury prevented him meeting his full potential that year.
During 2009 Marc played twice for England’s U20s, seeing action in the victories over Italy and Montenegro.
A strong pre-season before the 2010-11 campaign saw him make his Premier League debut and gain a first call-up to the Under-21s, coming on as a substitute in the 2-0 win over Uzbekistan.
