Royston Town boss Paul Attfield has hailed this weekend's FA Vase Fifth Round clash with Wroxham as the biggest game in the club's history.

"This match is massively important for the club. It's our biggest game in 135 years. When you start getting this close [to The Final] everyone starts to think you can do it and it's certainly possible. Why shouldn't it be us?"

Ironically, despite being in different divisions, the Crows have already faced Saturday's opponents this season.

"Strangely enough we played them in a pre-season friendly during the summer. We lost 2-1, but I'm not reading into that too much," said Attfield.

"Our team has changed a lot since then, their's probably has too and to be honest, we still don't know too much about them. That is the beauty of this competition. These are one-off games. You just need that bit of luck and to take your chances."

Royston are hopeful that their impressive form at the Garden Walk ground will stand them in good stead and Attfield believes it could well prove the decisive factor.

"We have an excellent home record. We've only lost twice in 14 months and we should have a decent crowd down there behind us. That will be important.

"We will be without full-back Lewis Endacott, who has a one game suspension and our wingers Luke Robins and Josh Bronti are both struggling with injuries. They are fifth-fifty for the game, but we still have a great chance."

Regardless of the outcome, the winners of this tie are sure to face a stern test at the Quarter Final stage, having been drawn away against Needham Market, who have reached the last eight of the competition for the third successive season.
