An FA Vase Sub Committee Meeting was held on Tuesday 10 November 2009 to investigate the inclusion of Mark Cadwallader, for New Mills, in the above tie and after considering all of the facts, the Sub Committee decided that New Mills were guilty, by their own admission, of breaching FA Vase Rule 15(h)(i) by playing a loan player, therefore ineligible.
The Sub Committee decided, in accordance with its discretionary powers and due to extenuating circumstances, that the tie is ordered to be replayed to a conclusion at Bourne Town on Saturday 14 November 2009, with a kick-off 3.00pm.
In addition, only those players that were eligible to play at 12 noon on Friday 2 October 2009 shall be permitted to participate in this tie. No fine was imposed, as the decision to replay the tie was deemed sufficient punishment.
The Second Round Proper tie, New Mills v Tividale, due to be played this Saturday is now cancelled and a date for the Second Round Proper tie, Bourne Town or New Mills v Tividale, will be advised in due course.
