Winning clubs will receive £600 from The FA

A penalty miss from Wayne Rooney's cousin Tom did not hinder Oyster Martyrs' progress into the Semi-Final of The FA Carlsberg Sunday Cup as they defeated Witton Park Rose and Crown 1-0.

The only goal of this Fifth Round game was worth waiting for when a sublime strike from James Smith flew into the net to ensure the Merseyside club went into the hat for the next Round.

Scots Grey will join them after a comfortable 3-1 win against Heywood Irish Centre in which they took an early lead through Terry Hawkridge.

Alan Jeffries doubled the lead before Heywood pulled a goal back from the spot, but the visitors failed to capitalise on their second-half pressure and missed a second penalty, allowing Phil Bignall to seal the win for Scots Grey.

Fforde Greene Brazil were also victorious at home, defeating ten-man Stanbridge and Tilsworth 2-1.

Dominic Blair gave Fforde Greene the lead from the penalty spot to continue his excellent record of scoring in every round of The Sunday Cup this season.

Vernol Blair grabbed the second goal with just 10 minutes to go, ensuring his side's safe passage into the last four.

Elsewhere, Lakeside Athletic edged through by the narrowest of margins at Wycombe Town. With the game ending 1-1 after extra-time, the visitors eventually prevailed 5-4 on penalties to go through.
