FT
The final whistle is blown and Manchester City celebrate winning The FA Cup, their first major piece of silverware for 35 years.
88'
Off, Carlos Tevez. On, Pablo Zabaleta. The City skipper comes off to a standing ovation.
85'
Off, Glenn Whelan. On, Danny Pugh. The last throw of the dice for Stoke.
81'
Both sets of fans are in great voice; Man City's are celebrating while Stoke's are trying to urge their team back into this Final.
80'
Off, Rory Delap. On, John Carew.
79'
With the wind in City's sails, a good run from Adam Johnson allows him to pull the ball back to Tevez. Dean Whitehead blocks.
75'
Andy Wilkinson. Unsporting behaviour
74'
Yaya Toure. The big Ivorian does it again for City, smashing the ball home from close range after Balotelli's effort is only half-cleared.
73'
Off, Gareth Barry. On, Adam Johnson. An attacking substitution by Roberto Mancini.
65'
As Wilkinson fires wide, the first rendition of 'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot' can be heard emanating from among the Stoke faithful.
63'
Off, Matthew Etherington. On, Dean Whitehead. Tony Pulis makes the first change of the afternoon.
62'
Joe Hart keeps City in the game. Joleon Lescott fails to deal with a long ball forward by Matthew Etherington, leaving Kenwyne Jones one-on-one with Hart, and the 'keeper comes out on top.
56'
A Man City counter-attack is led by Tevez, who finds Silva in acres of space on the edge of the Stoke box. The Spaniard should really have shot but takes too long and his pass out wide kills the momentum.
54'
The Stoke fans are up in arms following quick-fire fouls on Andy Wilkinson and Pennant.
51'
A slow start to the second period. Pennant saw a shot blocked following a Rory Delap throw-in and a Man City free-kick on 51 comes to nothing.
46'
Man City get the second half underway.
HT
Martin Atkinson blows the half-time whistle and it's still 0-0 here at Wembley.
44'
A worrying moment for Jermaine Pennant as he turns his ankle in challenging Silva. Soon back up on his feet, though.
43'
After Silva finds himself crowded out inside the Stoke box, the ball ends up at the feet of De Jong who side-foots wide.
40'
Robert Huth. The big centre back receives the first caution of the game after a late sliding tackle on Micah Richards.
35'
Lucky escape for Stoke. Tevez plays Balotelli in with a lovely chipped through ball, Sorensen does well to foil and Silva hits the ball into the ground and over, with the goal gaping.
30'
After Stoke have claims for a penalty turned down, City burst down the other end and Kompany calls Sorensen into action once more.
24'
Sorensen produces a fantastic save to deny Balotelli the opening goal. The Italian attempts to bend the ball into the far corner from just inside the box but the 'keeper claws it away superbly.
17'
Without creating too much, Stoke have started to come into the game slowly. Their fans are starting to really get behind them.
11'
City are completely on top here as their Semi-Final hero Yaya Toure is just centimetres away with his 30-yard strike.
10'
A brief moment of panic for Stoke captain Ryan Shawcross. He diverts Aleksandar Kolarov's low centre behind for a corner but the ball hits the side-netting, leaving Potters fans with hearts in mouths for a second.
08'
Mario Balotelli has a shot blocked inside the box as Roberto Mancini's men begin to assert themselves.
05'
It takes just five minutes for City skipper Carlos Tevez to work Thomas Sorensen. Cutting in from the left, Tevez drives a right-foot shot goalwards but Sorensen gets down well to palm away.
KO
Stoke City get us up and running in The FA Cup Final.
