Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini dedicated his side’s FA Cup victory to the club’s fans after they beat Stoke City 1-0 at Wembley.
Yaya Toure scored the only goal of the game with just over 15 minutes left as the Blues ended a trophy drought stretching back 35 years – and the Italian was delighted.
“I can only say that I am very happy for all these supporters, because after many years they deserve this trophy,” said Mancini.
“I thought we dominated this game and we were unlucky in the first half. We played very well, the players were fantastic.
“We did a small piece of history in Manchester City. We want this to be the start.”
