Dzeko targets another Wembley triumph

City striker wants to get season off to a winning start.

Manchester City's Edin Dzeko is hopeful another packed Wembley Stadium will help his side to their second trophy in three months.

The last time City played at the prestigious home of English football in May, they ended a 35-year-wait for a piece of silverware by beating Stoke 1-0 in The FA Cup Final thanks to a Yaya Toure goal.

Bosnia-Herzegovina striker Dzeko was an unused substitute in the landmark triumph but expects to play a bigger part in another seminal game in City's rejuvenation.

"Of course it is a big game for us and our fans," the 25-year-old told CityTV.

"I think we are fit and hopefully we can we can win the game but you never know and Wembley will be full again and I hope to win another cup before the season starts."
