Arsenal striker Jodie Taylor returns to the squad following injury while Liverpool captain Gemma Bonner is also included.

Casey Stoney and Fran Kirby have been left out of the squad due to injury, along with long-term absentees Alex Greenwood, Ellen White and Carly Telford.

The match will be played at the same venue, Koning Willem II Stadion, where England will face Portugal in Group D of next summer’s finals, on 27 July. England will also play Scotland in Utrecht on 19 July, and Spain in Breda on 23 July.

Sampson said: “This match provides us with the perfect opportunity to not only test ourselves against an excellent opponent who have genuine ambitions, as hosts, of winning the Euros, but to also experience the culture and environment that we’ll be working in next summer.

“It’s a unique chance to play at one of the stadiums that we will play in in July and now that we know who we face at the Euros, the intensity and focus in our squad will sharpen.

“Though it is the end of our season, there will be no excuses from us and every player knows that we need to work hard as this match will be a challenge of our mentality as well as ability.

“We are nine games unbeaten and will be fighting to make that 10, but we are expecting a tough game against a fellow contender for the Euros.”
