Sunderland charged for misconduct.
Sunderland have today [Wednesday 4 April] been charged by The FA for failing to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.
The charge is in relation to the conduct of the Sunderland players towards the referee following the awarding of a penalty to Manchester City in the 43rd minute of their match on 31 March 2012.
The club has until 4pm on 11 April 2012 to respond to the charge.
